Sober Living Aftercare & Housing

Recovery is possible!

Recovery from alcohol and drug problems is a process of change through which an individual achieves abstinence, and improved health, wellness and quality of life.

“I believe there are many pathways to recovery. Faith has been my pathway to recovery. You have to have will. You have to want to change things. Recovery is possible.”

 Evan Figueroa-Vargas

The House of Acts promises to take you step, by step, by step...not all at once...but step, by step.  Each step will be a miracle!

The robust services we offer to assist our residents in recovery are as follows:

Sober Living Environment (SLE)

Our sober living environment is a recovery support service we offer.  It is a nonclinical service that is used to support individuals in their recovery goals.

Our clean and sober living environment is where residents who are serious about their recovery share the responsibility in the care of the house.  Residents in SLE learn to support and encourage individual growth while learning how to live without alcohol and/or drugs.  The residents include peers or others who are already in recovery.  They assist and support each other in developing the ability to handle future stresses in everyday life.

For more information, please call (707) 553-1042.

If no openings are available, the administrative staff at the House of Acts can recommend other suitable sober living environments to help with recovery.  At the House of Acts we know the importance of a good sober living environment, and the impact it has on one’s life.
